Pet Portraits & Commissions
I always strive to capture the essence of the animal I am drawing. I work from your own photographs, the more the better as it gives me more of an idea of their personality and character. Its always nice to hear a little about them too - their likes and dislikes, their background and habits. It doesn't always influence my artwork but does makes me smile!
We all know that our animal companions don't live long enough. We want them to spend OUR lifetime with us and it can be absolutely devastating when they leave us.
I have been commissioned many, many times to create a portrait for the loved ones lost and it is always such a pleasure to see 'happy tears' when they are received and adored. A portrait can help make you smile and remember the happy days with your best friend.
